Cutting the cake

Eating the cake. I made John promise he wouldn't smash it in my face (or he would be very sorry). He kept up his end of the deal.

The cake.
It turned out
exactly like I wanted it. I didn't even want to cut into it. It was perfect :)
It even tasted good and we are not fans of cake

John's Dad decorated the basketball hoops in the gym so they didn't look like hoops.

Guest sign in book that will be part of our wedding scrapbook

I always thought it was soo stupid for people to leave their cars right outside the reception center because they know it will be decorated and that's embarrassing to drive the car around on the honeymoon and get the paint/oreos off the car. But we were in a hurry and that was the last thing on my mind. So it got decorated.

The funny thing was we got a lot of attention on our honeymoon because of the car. Tons of people honked at us or waved and laughed. We even got discounted sandwiches at Subway by Bryce Canyon National Park. We sure got a lot of laughs out of it so it was worth it. Even though there are still a few places it hasn't come off yet.

Leaving the reception center through fireworks. My Grandma Bradshaw said a few years ago that if I ever got married she would have fireworks (because it would be a miracle). So I didn't let her forget that.

Decorations from the tables

I found my "name confetti" about 8 years ago and just kept it for this reason. I had to order John's name off the internet but I was so excited to find it. Good thing my husband-to-be had a normal name.

There were 2 tables each of pink, purple, red, and yellow flowers with rose petals, our name confetti, "Just married", and hearts on each table with candles.

These photos turned out great Krista! :D
