Look what we did yesterday....

First of all, my Dad put this sign on the back of my car on Sunday as a surprise. How embarrasing. Especially because I forgot to take it off until Monday afternoon. In case you were wondering, no one honked for me. :(

Next, we went to Mesquite (Nevada). We had 2 free nights at the Virgin River hotel through our Dixie Direct card, so we wanted to use them. I decided a few days before that it was for our 3 month anniversary. Since the real 3 month anniversary (November 1), I was running 26 miles (and John ran about 13) and we didn't have a fun day together. In fact, it was anything but fun. No, we will not have a getaway for every 3 months, but it was just fun to celebrate something. Martinelli's sparkling apple cider is the best thing ever invented. Especially when you are drinking it in bed while eating pinenuts and watching tv with your favorite person. We don't have tv, so it is just amazingly entertaining when we have the chance

And we bought this living room set from the Boulevard. The set includes a couch and loveseat, 2 end tables, "coffee" table, 2 lamps, "decorative pieces", rug, blue-ray player,............ and a 65 inch TV! The Actual Retail Value is close to $4000, but we paid $2000! The TV alone costs $1800, so basically we bought a living room set and got a free TV with it! We are sooo excited! Super Bowl party at our house! I guess we need to get cable or something. Plus, we might need to finish the basement ASAP so we have a place to put it.

Then we spent some time at the pool. Nevermind the fact that the pool was closed because it's November. We hung out in the hot tub and layed out for a few hours. The temperature was around 75 degrees...... Perfect!

The end!
