Making pink heart shaped pancakes for breakfast!
Brynlee loves to help pour in ingredients and stir.
From mom and dad-Barbie bathtub toy (she begged all day to get in the tub to play with it, then the next day when it was in the tub she begged all day to go "look at it"), princess chocolates (we put them in the freezer so they are called "freezer chocolates", and stickers.
Card in the mail from grandpa Winslow
Card and stickers in the mail from grandma Winslow, plus a gift card to Barnes and noble
More chocolates and cash from grandma and grandpa miller
Stickers, chocolates, and a pink purse from jaxon and aunt sue.
She sure got spoiled (as usual). It seemed a lot like Christmas morning, but less presents (which was good)
A few days before, brynlee had made some cards for her grandparents, daddy, jaxon and aunt sue. I was planning on taking her picture when she gave them to the right people, but it didn't work out like that, so I don't have any pictures of her cute crafts (except the picture below).
John and I had decided that we didn't need to get each other anything, we just wanted to go out to dinner. We went to ocean buffet on Wednesday night (valentines was Friday) for some yummy crab legs, shrimp, and California sushi rolls without the seaweed for me. Of course john got something for me anyway- chocolates and a bottle of martinellis.
Our ward had a valentines party with the young women watching kids. My mom had also offered to watch brynlee before the party started, so we had a nice steak and asparagus dinner (same as last year) complete with martinellis. Then we just decided to leave brynlee at my moms house and spent a little time at the party eating dessert and playing games with other couples.
It was a fun day, made even more fun by a cute girl that loves pink and chocolates and gets so excited about the little things.
