Brynlee started preschool on September 4th. She goes to Miss Keri's preschool on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9am to 11 am. She loves taking her princess backpack.
I was worried that she would not like it and say she didn't want to go everyday like she did with the summer camp at the rec center. But not once has she said she didn't want to go even though I have to wake her up at 8 am almost every school day. She has a lot of fun.
I like that it is teaching her to get along with other kids and how to be away from home. But I'm a little disappointed that she isn't learning a whole lot of "school" stuff. She has been able to write her name for 6 months, but all of her crafts she comes home with have her name already written on them (not by Brynlee). It's just a little frustrating when she has also known letters, numbers, colors, and shapes since she was 18 months old. But at least she is getting the social aspect of it. Her teacher said Brynlee is always so happy and enthusiastic and she is a joy to have around. That makes a mom proud!
