Fresh from a nap
Gotta love the hair
She pulls some funny faces sometimes!
At 10 months Brynlee is all over the place! She is so wild and always moving. Changing her diaper is a NIGHTMARE! She will not hold still for more than a few seconds at a time. She seems to think she needs to multi-task everything.
She is eating much better most of the time. She loves mangos, peaches, pears, Grandma's homemade applesauce (not any other kind), yogurt, bananas, watermelon, apple and grape juice, anything with chocolate or sugar, Gerber baby cheetos, pizza sauce (she will eat it by the spoonful). She is not a big fan of pureed vegetables, but she will eat them when mixed with fruit. She does love cooked broccoli and raw carrots. She has a hyperactive gag reflex, so that can be a challenge. Still working on drinking from a sippy cup, but she does love trying to drink from our cups.
Brynlee still loves Baby Einstein movies, but mom & dad are so sick of them that we have been borrowing sesame street or blues clues movies from the library and she likes those too. She LOVES the wheels on the bus song and can even do the windshield wiper motion (sometimes). If we are in the car for more than a few minutes Brynlee always starts crying (because she can't crawl around) so we start singing wheels on the bus. She stops crying every time. Also loves anything that makes noise (including grinding her teeth) and anything having to do with animals or peekaboo. Brynlee loves to look at herself in the mirror and look at pictures of herself.
Brynlee has her top 2 and bottom 2 front teeth all the way in and 2 more coming for a total of 6.
Brynlee has a sixth sense about all the dangers she can get herself into and does whatever she can to get into it. She has pulled our kitchen chair down on top of her and often manages to get her fingers pinched on cupboards that have the child locks. She has a new fascination with toilets so now we have to keep the bathroom doors closed.
Not walking yet, just crawling very fast. She sometimes will pull herself up on the couch or chair and let go, but hasn't tried to take any steps yet. But that is fine with us for now.
Her main words are Dada and bob. No, I have no idea what bob is. I am starting to wonder if she means dog, but I'm not sure. I love to hear her babbling it is the cutest thing ever. We try and get her to say mama and she just looks at us like we're crazy.
As challenging as Brynlee is, she is the cutest thing in the whole world and can't wait to see what she will do next!
