Bentley was blessed by his Dad on Sunday, June 1, 2014. He was blessed to grow healthy and strong and be a good example to others. John did a really good job with the blessing. In the blessing circle- John, Grandpa Miller, Derek Christensen (John's cousin), Michael Winslow, Anthony Horrocks, Scott Munson, & Mark Bradshaw.
We borrowed a tux that Jaxon wore to his blessing (5 years ago). We were warned that the tux jacket is really hard to get on and the pants are really long. We have 9 AM church and John left to save seats around 8:20 AM. So I was left to get both kids ready and I tried so hard, but barely got to church before it started and I didn't put the tux jacket on yet (thinking I would do it when I got there). I was also really worried about him spitting up on the clothes because they are dry clean only. I took safety pins with me and so John and I were frantically trying to put the safety pins on the pant legs and jacket arms, plus getting the jacket on Bentley. I swear they sang the shortest Hymn ever because they announced that John would be blessing Bentley and we still did not have the jacket on. So we had to pull it off and he only wore the pants and white shirt, I totally forgot the bow tie even. I was disappointed, but oh well. Bentley slept during the whole blessing and most of Sacrament meeting. I did manage to get the whole outfit on him later in the week so I could at least get a picture of the cuteness.
Bentley was screaming for unknown reasons, but this was the best we could do.
After Sacrament meeting we went to our clubhouse with everybody to have a taco lunch.
