35.5 weeks: dilated to a 1-1.5. Dr. Chalmers thinks I will deliver by the first part of April. Yeah!!!!
36.5 weeks: dilated to a 2
37.5 weeks: dilated to 2.5 and 80% effaced. Dr. Chalmers said he wouldn't be surprised to see me in labor and delivery that week because I was progressing so well. But, that was Tuesday and it is now Sunday with no baby. :(
I am so ready for this pregnancy to be over. I am fully aware that I will not sleep much after the baby is born, but I already don't sleep much now and at least I won't have all the other problems along with being tired.

I have had contractions off and on for 8 days now and I am getting kind of tired of them. Obviously they never progress to the real labor.
Dr. Chalmer's said I could be induced at 39 weeks, which is Saturday, April 5th. That is also General Conference weekend. At first I felt like I shouldn't do it, but now I don't really care and am planning on if the baby does not come before then.
38.5 weeks (April 1st): dilated to a 3! Planning on the induction Saturday!
Acid reflux is miserable! I can't lay down or else I feel like all of my stomach contents are in my throat and about to come up any time. Doesn't help to eat less or not at all close to bedtime. Spicy foods (like chips and salsa) are by far the worst. I don't sleep well at all sitting up, so basically sleep is not happening these days.
Have to get up to use the bathroom about every 2 1/2 hours during the night.
It is very painful to turn over and change positions in bed.
Feet quite swollen and somedays very painful. My hands are starting to swell also, which I think is kind of weird.
Obviously very tired during the day because of poor sleep quality during the night.

Weight gain: what's funny is I have hardly gained any weight in the 3rd trimester, which is when the baby gains the most weight. Some people now comment how small I am. That's very different to hear when all I heard before was how huge I was. I think that I look almost the same now as I did in December, at 5 months! I just gain a lot of weight in the 2nd trimester for whatever reason and then even out throughout the rest of the pregnancy. I have gained more weight than I wanted of course, but not much can be done about that.
