Some random pictures of Brynlee over the last couple of months...

Funny story-  Brynlee loves Elmo and all the Sesame street characters.  There was a health expo going on near the hospital one day when I was working, so John took Brynlee to see the life-size Elmo.  As you can tell from the picture, she was not too thrilled to see a huge Elmo.  The rest of the day she said "Scary Elmo" to anyone who would listen.

 



Brynlee thought she was pretty funny putting on Daddy's shoes and trying to walk around.

 



One day I put Brynlee in her crib with the lights out for an afternoon nap.  She never did go to sleep.  Instead she had grabbed all of the books out of the basket on the floor and was looking through them and entertaining herself for over an hour.

 

You can't really tell from the pictures, but Brynlee had pulled out the drawers and opened the bottom cupboard.  She sat in there like it was her playhouse or something for a while.

We bought these cute sunglasses that Brynlee loves to wear.  She also got the carrying case for the sunglasses that she likes to pretend is her purse.

 



This is how we found Brynlee one morning- instead of her socks on her feet, she put them on her hands.  That's not easy to do!  

Just lounging around with sunglasses on, shirt off, and lamby (stuff lamb).

She thinks she is pretty cool wearing her sunglasses and firefighter hat.

One day John went to the store with Brynlee and came back with a princess fishing pole for her.  He was telling me on the phone about it and I said "Good luck", meaning there is no way a 2 year old is going to understand what to do with it.  But a few hours later I walked in the house from work, she here she was "fishing" with a magnetic fish.  Dad would cast it (throw it) and Brynlee would reel it in, all by herself!!!  I sat there and watched for a while in awe.  She loves it and gets so mad when we take it away.

John decided to wash the car and Brynlee wanted to help.  It was so funny to watch her because she took it so seriously.  She had a determined look on her face and didn't mess around at all.  It was kind of cold and windy and she was soaking wet, but went straight to the bath so it worked out.  Maybe we will have to hire her to be our car washer from now on.
