Before spring semester started, we made our way to Cedar City to go sledding with my Dad, Matthew, & Lindsey. We tried to buy some cheap sleds in Cedar and went to 2 different places, but they were sold out everywhere. My dad had some tarps and sleeping bags. I was skeptical, but was amazed how well they worked. We were able to get 4 adults plus Brynlee on the sleeping bag to go down together. Plus, the padding really helped when it was bumpy.
Even though the sun was shining, it was bitter cold. At least for me, who is used to much warmer weather. We borrowed some snow pants for Brynlee that were about twice as big as she was, but they worked out. We had a great time! I wasn't sure Brynlee would like it, but she thought it was pretty cool. I think her favorite part was the hot chocolate.
