Last fall I took Brynlee to a parade down Telegraph in Washington. I think it was Pine View's homecoming. Lately she had started asking about a parade often when we would drive down Telegraph. I was surprised at her memory. She would talk about "candy and firetrucks". That is what a parade is about right? So in early May, Washington had a Cotton Days Parade that we took Brynlee to. Her cousins and Aunt Sue were there also.
Brynlee and her cousin Dani waiting for the parade to start.
This was after a person drove down the street, shooting a gun. It was sooo loud of course and Brynlee was a little freaked out. She spent the rest of the parade in Daddy's arms. But she did get plenty of candy and saw the firetrucks!
