We tried to think of something fun to do since we had the day off. My brilliant idea was to go on a hike, forgetting that it's still 100 degrees (even in the morning). It wasn't a very long hike, but with the heat and a little morning sickness, I wasn't enjoying it very much.
Brynlee always loves to explore and find "cute" things such as little crevices to hide in and take a picture.
John likes to find animals (Brynlee loves it too). He found this horney toad as we were walking out. There was a group of young boys that were so jealous of John. John decided to take it home (against my wishes and better judgement). He now lives in our basement stairway (and has for almost 2 months now). If anything good comes out of it for me- hopefully there will be less bugs in the basement.
