December so far....

We went to Christmas in Town Square one night.  Santa was there plus hot chocolate, crafts, and kids singing.  We went the night before it snowed so it was actually pretty warm with the cloud cover.  I was so glad the line for Santa was only 2 minutes long because Brynlee refused to let go of us or even look at him.  Which is pretty funny because she saw Santa a few weeks ago and really wanted to go sit on his lap.  She didn't because the line was long and it cost money (I am too cheap).  So I thought she might be okay this year.  Guess not....
She was excited about the candy cane, but then realized she hates peppermint.

All of the trees were decorated and it was really pretty

The Children's Museum was in the same area and it had just barely opened and was free!  We didn't miss the opportunity to check it out.  Brynlee loved the grocery store and music room.
John loved the music room too.
It was definetely a fun place to be and we went back 2 days later and spent 2 hours there.  I plan to take Brynlee every month.

That night it started snowing and we woke up to several inches of snow!  It's pretty unusual for St. George, but also unusual that several days later it is still there.  It has been colder than we are used to!
Brynlee and I went out the next morning and we (I) built a snowman.  The snow would not stay together at all, it was just a fine powder (perfect for skiing, but not making snowmen).  Brynlee just stood there saying "I'm freezing" over and over again.  So I hurried and threw something together, found a few rocks for the eyes, put the carrot in for the nose and called it a snowman.  It was a pretty sad snowman, but a snowman nonetheless.  We didn't stay out for very long.  After we went inside to drink hot chocolate and watch Frosty the Snowman.
The snow was pretty fun the first day because neither John or I had to drive anywhere in it.  But I'm ready for it to be not so cold!
