Thanksgiving- 2013

I took my camera planning to take pictures, but of course that didn't happen.

This year we spent the day with the Miller's.  My mom came too so that was fun.
My contribution was drinks and green bean casserole.  I definetely got the easy jobs.
We went over to John's parents house early to help cook and set up.
Brynlee had a blast playing with her cousins as usual.
The food was delicious as usual.  I am kind of weird because I couldn't care less about the turkey or dessert (which is most people's favorite).  My favorites are the mashed potatoes and gravy, rolls (although nothing beats my Grandma's rolls), stuffing, and green bean casserole.  I had 2 plates and was stuffed.  I didn't eat for the rest of the day, which is quite unusual for me (I have to eat every few hours usually).
We did not do any black Friday (or Thursday) shopping and I was grateful for that.
My list of things I am grateful for are the usual, but still important to me.
I am grateful to have a wonderful husband, a happy and healthy 3 year old, plus a happy and healthy baby on the way.  I am grateful for a job that pays the bills plus lets us have some fun and has a flexible schedule.  I am grateful John is closer to being done with school because I have just about had it (so has he).
We have a house that keeps us warm and 2 cars that get us where we need to go.
Plus lots of great family and friends that make it all worth it.
We are so blessed!
